What a great race to close off the 2013 ITU World Triathlon series in London. Javier Gomez won the race in 1:48:16 narrowly beating Jonathan Brownlee 1:48:17. It was a sad day for Alistair Brownlee as he suffered with an achilles injury and could only make 52nd place in 1:52:03.
