Combined Operations is a Military Vehicle and Airshow held annually at Headcorn Airfield in Kent.
This is the third year that we have been to the show. The show is a smaller version of the War & Peace event held in July. My son, who is 7 years old, just loves the fact that you can see tanks, armoured cars etc, go on some of the exhibits and talk to loads of the Living History participants and try out some of the gear from helmets, uniforms and guns etc. There are tank rides, mini tanks, planes rides if you have got a bit more cash and best of all, in the arena, displays of the vehicles doing their stuff. Each day there is also a re-enactment, and this year as its the 100th anniversary, it was a WW1 battle scene. Below are some images of the day.
